1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Hadoota ("the Platform"), operated by Hadoota Inc. ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. You confirm you are at least 18 years old. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
Hadoota is an AI-powered story creation platform that lets you create illustrated storybooks in Arabic or English through guided conversation with an AI companion. You can keep stories private, share them with people you follow, or publish them to the public discovery feed.
3. Eligibility & Accounts
- You must be 18 years or older to create an account.
- One user owns one account. Each account can hold one or more kid profiles — personalization contexts that tell the AI who the story is for. Kid profiles do not have separate logins.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account, including stories generated and content published.
- The free plan includes one kid profile and a limited number of story generations per month. Additional kid profiles or higher quotas require a paid subscription.
4. Content Safety & Moderation
The Platform allows users to publish stories and follow other users. To keep the community safe we offer the following protections, and we ask all users to do the same:
- AI generation runs through automated content filters before any output is shown to you. Phrases that are blocked are recorded so you can see them on your dashboard.
- You can report objectionable content from any story or any creator profile from inside the app or on the web.
- You can block another user from your feed at any time. Blocked users disappear instantly and cannot follow you.
- We review reports within 24 hours and may remove content or suspend accounts. A story that accumulates multiple distinct reports may be auto-hidden pending review.
- You agree not to post content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, hateful, sexual, violent, or otherwise objectionable. Repeated violations result in account termination.
5. Content & Intellectual Property
- Stories created on the Platform are owned by you (the account holder).
- By publishing a story as "public" or "followers," you grant Hadoota a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display the story on the Platform and to surface it on the discovery feed.
- AI-generated text and illustrations are created using third-party AI models. We do not claim ownership of the AI-generated output.
- You may not use the Platform to generate content that is harmful, hateful, violent, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate (see Section 4).
- We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms.
6. Subscription & Billing
- Free accounts include one kid profile and a limited number of story generations per month.
- Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. Prices are displayed before purchase.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the billing period.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support for assistance.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to bypass content moderation, safety filters, or report and block mechanisms.
- Create multiple free accounts to circumvent usage limits.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure.
- Scrape, crawl, or automate access to the Platform without permission.
- Share account credentials with third parties.
- Use the Platform to harass, threaten, or impersonate any person or entity.
8. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. We collect and process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to our data practices. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
9. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Content generated by AI may occasionally contain inaccuracies, unexpected outputs, or content that does not perfectly match your intent. While we employ multiple layers of content moderation, we cannot guarantee that all AI output will be perfectly appropriate. You are encouraged to review stories before publishing.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hadoota shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
11. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or pose a safety risk. You may delete your account at any time from inside the app or web (learn more). Upon termination, your data will be handled per our data retention policy.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app prompt. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
