How to delete your Hadoota account and what happens to your data.
How to Request Account Deletion
- Sign in to your account at hadoota.me
- Open the Account link in the dashboard header (or go directly to hadoota.me/dashboard/account)
- Type DELETE in the confirmation field and click "Delete my account"
- You will be signed out and your account will enter the 30-day grace period
On the mobile app: Profile → Delete account — same two-step confirmation.
30-Day Grace Period
After requesting deletion, your account enters a 30-day grace period. During this time:
- Your account remains functional but marked for deletion.
- If you log in again during the 30 days, the deletion request is automatically canceled.
- You will see a welcome-back message confirming the cancellation.
- No action is needed from you to cancel — just logging in is enough.
What Happens After 30 Days
If you do not log in within 30 days, your account will be permanently deleted. This includes:
- User account — email, name, login credentials
- Kid profiles — all kid profiles under your account
- Stories — all stories, illustrations, and story data
- Subscription — any active subscription will be canceled
- Activity data — conversation history, rewards, insights
Note: Financial records (payment history) are retained for 7 years per financial compliance requirements, but are anonymized upon deletion.
Alternative: Contact Support
